Secure Boot is a security standard developed by members of the PC industry to help make sure that your PC and some electronics boots using only software that is trusted by the PC manufacturer.

This is a major step forward, especially for everyone who’s looking forward to having customer firmware on their device. I’m hoping that someone will just make a replaceable nand for the switch that way no one will have to tamper with the original nand on the device just in case for warranty purposes.
